Stage 5

  • 1 naan flat bread, pita or focaccia (for thick crust lovers)
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 whole garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp ricotta cheese or 2 oz feta
  • parmesan and red pepper flakes (optional)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush olive oil on top of the flatbread and spread minced garlic. Top with mozzarella cheese, onion and spinach, and dollop with 3 spoonful’s of ricotta. Bake for 7-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top to taste with parmesan and red pepper flakes, if desired. This will make one personal size adult pizza or can be cut into quarters for 4 smaller servings for toddlers.

Recipe Yields: 1-4 Servings

If you need to store the pizza, keep it in the refrigerator and reheat before serving.

Storage Time: 3 days in the refrigerator
